United’s detailed 3D mapping and characterization provide the foundation for development and exploratory work in oil and gas plays. The 3D structures, isopachs, and modelling of 3D variability are developed for optimized well planning. We use 3D visualizations that clearly display the opportunities and sweet spots within the reservoir. Our mapping process has been applied to different resource types such as tight and heavy oil, conventional and unconventional reservoirs, as well as tight gas and shale gas/oil.
Using our proprietary software SMART4D we are able to successfully geosteer your wells, whether in conventional or in unconventional resource plays. We use state-of-the-art 3 dimensional, characterization modeling that allows us to proactively geosteer ahead of the bit in real time.
