Background: Several clients have expressed interest in detailed information about Corbett. United is pleased to announce this Mannville CBM study in the Corbett area that expands and builds on earlier work. This study is slated for completion by June 2006.
What will be covered?
This integrated geological and engineering study will look at several factors that make this the first commercial Mannville CBM development. These include mapping of coal structures and associated sands analysis, coal qualities and ranks, placement issues, profiles for over 80 horizontal wells through the 3D geo-model and evaluation of their correlation to available production to date, vertical vs. horizontal well productivity analysis, water issues and corresponding analysis.
